Photo-a-day, 71-76 (New Orleans Edition)

3.14.12  71/365
The Great Mississippi.

3.15.12  72/365
Cutest little building ever!  Really reminded me of 12 Grimmauld Place...

3.16.12  73/365
Jellyfish.

3.17.12  74/365
Daniel and I found a four leaf clover on St. Patrick's day.  If that isn't lucky, I don't know what is...

3.18.12  75/365
Super scary abandoned catholic school.  Probably left abandoned after the hurricane?

3.19.12  76/365
Cafe Du Monde.  They only served chicory coffee and beignets.  Beignets are like a sopapilla outside and a fluffy doughnut inside with LOTS of powdered sugar.  They were pretty delish.  And super messy.  But totally worth it.

More New Orleans pictures to come.  Also, I never mentioned this, but if you ever want to see any of the pictures bigger, you can just click on them.  Sometimes I think that might help; in this post especially with the jellyfish picture.  Thanks for looking!  :)

June...

6.1.11  (the before)
June started out with a surprise bang.  The day itself was pretty mellow.  I just cleaned up the house and did some required reading for my Spain trip.  In the evening on the way to run some errands this is what greeted me from the parking lot behind my apartments.  It was initially unpleasant, but did put a bit of a spark into my mundane day.  Daniel and I took it as a welcome challenge.  Just about a year ago we had to change this same tire on a late cold march night.  The circumstances were far more amicable on this day.
