Promises.

Promising to write a new blog every week is a big promise...

So, a month (or so...) later here you go.  In the past month-ish time I:

-went to see Yjastros, the resident flamenco repertory company here in Albuquerque.  They were going for something a bit more modern.  I had mixed feelings about the experience.

-dyed a bleach streak in the underside of my dark brown hair in an attempt to pacify my constant hair cutting impulses.  I'm trying to grow my hair down.  We'll see how far I get this time.  We're at right about shoulder sweeping length.

-went to basically three Thanksgivings with Daniel.  I fell asleep at the last one.  It was a lot of eating!

-have gotten not only one, but two flat tires on my poor little bike.  I'm not very good at estimating walking time anymore...  lol.

-registered for my last three classes of my university undergraduate career.  It was exciting and nerve-wracking all at once.  Five years will have seemed to fly by.

-have been doing a lot of thinking.  You know, all that self reflection stuff.  And what's worth putting up with and what's not, from myself and other people.

-sadly attended the funeral of my great grandmother Victoriana Murillo, who lived a long full life into her eighties.  Experiencing death really makes you feel small and makes you reevaluate pretty much everything.

-should be studying for finals right now, but I'm taking a small break to not get too burnt out.  Two finals this week and a portfolio to turn in next week and I'm done with the semester.  Woo!!  Then I will embrace winter break by cleaning the hell out of everything (bathroom, bedroom, apartment, truckie, life), followed by workworkwork and hopefully plenty of knitting, crocheting, dressmaking, photo taking, and SLEEP.

Sorry there are no photos in this blog.  I forgot to check one of the settings on my camera and it turned out that all the photos weren't compatible with my computer.  Daniel's working on helping me fix their format.  And now I know to always double check all the settings.  Hopefully photos for next time.

Until then,
K.

P.s.  I almost forgot!  I reached 500 views!  Thanks to everyone that reads or pretends to read this humble little bloggie.  I really appreciate it!  <3
